Mu Upsilon Chapter will hold its annual business meeting and spring program on May 6th as an in-person event at the Green Dolphin Lounge, Bldg 1C, at the College of Staten Island. The annual spring meeting will take place with brief committee reports, installation of officers, new member inductions for those who could not attend on April 7. The business meeting will be followed by a celebration of Awards, Scholarships, and Grant recipients. Members, Students, Faculty, Awardees, and their guests will be among the attendees. 

The Research Committee invites all members, students, and faculty to a journal club session  to be held on 2/27/24 at 6:30PM via zoom. It is free and registration is required.

We will discuss Speroni et al. (2020) Use of evidence-based practice models and research findings in magnet-designated hospitals across the US: National survey results, published in Worldviews. For more information contact

The Leadership Succession Committee is making a final call for Nominations for several Board positions.  Information regarding elections of officers was sent earlier in 2023. The Board voted to hold elections in the fall this year. The Committee would like to remind members of the officers to be elected this Fall and invite members in good standing to self-nominate. If nominating another, please be sure to have that persons agreement to run prior to submitting their name to the Committee. All nominations should be sent via email to:

The Ballot will be prepared by the Current Leadership Succession Committee (D. Curcio and R. Maida). The Committee will notify members of voting. Announcement of the new Board Members and Inauguration of Officers will occur at the Fall Meeting in November 2023.The new officers terms will begin following inauguration.
